Role of The Clerk to the Council (The Proper Officer)

The Clerk is the Administrator and Responsible Financial Officer to the Council. The Clerk has the duty to summons Councillors to attend Council meetings and to ensure that all decisions taken by the Council are lawful, financially sound and accurately recorded.
